Too Busy For A Healthy Breakfast

We have heard it all before, that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Our bodies need regular re-fuelling and when it comes to breakfast time, the majority of people haven't eaten for approximately 12hrs. Market research shows us that approximately half of us skip breakfast each morning. It is common to hear reasons like we are busy, or we are attempting to lose weight, or we just dont enjoy breakfast foods.
Unfortunately these reasons are just not valid. There are various options we can choose from when it comes to healthy breakfasts in the present day including breakfasts that can be made and eaten on the run. It doesn't actually have to be breakfast foods that you consume for breakfast. Some people legitimately don't feel hungry in the mornings and this can be especially true for those who are used to not eating in the mornings. Yoghurt or fruit is a good idea for those that don't feel hungry but should try to eat something light.
If you are trying to lose weight, skipping breakfast is not a good idea. If you are trying to lose weight, please bear in mind the research that shows the majority of breakfast skippers end up eating much more later in the day to overall eat more than someone who eats a good breakfast.
Here are a few easy and healthy breakfast tips:
A good choice as a breakfast that can be taken with you, is a smoothie. Make sure you are aware of what is actually in your smoothie, particularly if you purchase them as some may not be as healthy as you first think. There are some great smoothie blenders on the market that you can purchase in order to make you own smoothies at home and this will ensure you know the exact ingredients.
Breakfast burritos kept in the freezer can be a great breakfast for those with little time also. You can fill them with egg, peppers, soy sausage and onion on a regular tortilla or even a whole wheat version. Burritos such as this freeze nicely. Just heat one up while your preparing your morning coffee. Fill up on fruit to add to this easy breakfast.
Cereal is a quick breakfast aswell if you choose a healthy cereal you can't go wrong. Adding fresh fruit is a great idea to make cereal all the more filling. If you are weight concious, skim milk would be best.
Consider eating a simple sandwich if you are one of those who prefers not to eat breakfast foods. Or simply have a lot of fruit on hand. For those of you who are attempting to lose fat, breakfast is the best meal to avoid eating alot of calories.
