Quickest Way to Lose Weight - How Lose Weight Quickly

What is the quickest way to lose weight is a question I have been ask so many time, so much that I have lost count. So many people would like to know what is the quickest way to lose weight.
If you intend to lose weight quickly, then you must remember that fast weight loss doesn't last. Always have at the back of your mind that you will almost certainly gain back all those extra pounds lost on quick weight loss plans. You should always remember that those extra pounds you are trying to lose was not gained overnight and you should not try to lose it overnight. It is a sobering thought, I know, but not many people want to know that as they are too occupied with the thought of how to quickly shed off those extra pounds.
If you are one of those who have got lot of extra pounds to lose - say 60 pounds, fine! You can nail off each of those suckers on a daily basis. You can go it slowly till you achieve your desired result. The best way to lose those 60 pounds is to go from 60 to 59 from 59 to 58 until you have achieved your weight loss goal. Post a tally chart close to your bed and check off each pound lost. You don't even have to make it chore but rather a fun. This is you getting into the best shape of your life.
The question to what is the quickest way to lose weight is not an extremely hard one but the truth is that, there is no definitely answer to this age long question as what works for your friend may not work for you and what works for you may not work for your friend.
In some cases your weight may be directly linked to your genes. for some people, it may also be that you are consuming too much food or eating emotionally. Often a lack of exercise and a sedentary lifestyle are the cause. In all cases you are simply consuming more calories than you expend in your daily life.
Anyone who is involved in hard labor work will most definitely be burning or using up more calories at work every day, much more than an office worker who can easily be found seated at a desk day in day out, all weeks and all months. An active youngster who enjoys lots of out door activities will most likely burn lots of calories while a child who sits watching Tv all the time will most likely become overweight or obsessed with time.
There are so many seriously overweight people in our environment these days due to inactive lifestyle coupled with overeating. The sad result is diabetes and so many other problems associated with being overweight.
The surest, most effective and quickest way to lose weight is to set realistic goals. Quick way weight loss is possible but you should never expect any miracle in your journey to losing weight. I know you want to lose weight as quick as possible but you must decide on how much you want to lose and how soon you want to lose it.
But know that there is no safe weight loss programme that will help lose a very large amount of weight quickly. On a good diet exercise program most people lose one pound per day safely or a bit more if you are quite a bit overweight.
The best, safest and quickest way to lose weight is to go it 2 pounds per week. It is entirely impossible to lose as much as 30 pounds in a week without putting your healthy at risk. Most of the weight loss ads your regularly see on TV will try to make you believe that it is possible to lose up to 30 pounds per week but please don't be suckered --it is can never be done.
If you want to know what is the safest and quickest way to lose weight, then you have got to look up to water. Our bodies retain lot of water when we live in a state of dehydration and, surprisingly, most of us are dehydrated most of the time.
If you want to lose weight and want to know the quickest way to lose weight, you can never go wrong with water. Your body stores lot of water whenever you are dehydrated. This excess can be as much as 10 lbs which you do not necessarily need. In order to flush out this excessive water from your body, you can drink copious amounts of water to get rid of the excess. Drinking more water tells your body you are now hydrated and that you don't need spare reserves, so the body ditches them.
So don't ask what is the quickest way to lose weight. Instead commit yourself to drinking plenty of water, eating good food, and doing resistance exercise to maintain your healthy muscle while the fat is blowtorched off.

Men's Health Check - Early Detection Can Save Many Lives!

Did you know that each hour in each civilized country, at least five men die from conditions that are potentially preventable? Or that men live on average six years less than women?
According to the Australian Medical Association, many men treat their health as a low priority while they juggle the competing demands of work and family life. Apparently, men often adopt a "functional view" of their bodies. Only when their work, play or exercise is below par, they understand there may be a problem. Another fact is that most men stop visiting doctors regularly between the age of 20 and 45. By the time the begin visiting GP's again, their ailments are more chronic in nature!
Like a car needs a regular inspection and service, your health needs a regular inspection as well! Prevention and early detection are key. To prevent and mitigate risks of obesity, diabetes, cancer, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, etc., there is a thing you can do: an annual men's health check! This is the best advice I can give you, as it will most certainly help you to maintain and protect your own health.
The main objectives of a men's health check/assessment are:
* To improve and maintain your well being in the short and long term.
* To ensure you maintain your physical independence in the long term.
* To prevent the onset of disease, including cancer.
* To detect disease early, including cancer.

A complete men's health check should cover the detection and prevention of:
* Nutritional imbalances.
* Excess body weight.
* Disease of your heart and arteries (cardiovascular disease - build-up of plaque in your arteries).
* High blood pressure (hypertension).
* Abnormal blood fats (dyslipidaemia).
* Abnormal blood sugar (insulin resistance/pre-diabetes/diabetes).
* Prostate problems.
* Weak bones (osteoporosis), calcium and vitamin D deficiencies.
* Screening for cancer, in particular skin, testicles, prostate, bowel.
* Sexual difficulties, in particular erection and ejaculation problems (optional).
* Sexually transmitted infections (optional).
* Immunizations.

Most large medical centers offer health checks and there are specialized men's health check centers in most large cities around the world. They'll do a full health check and provide you with advise on how to improve your health. It will all be on a strictly confidential basis! A men's health check will take you at least 1 to 2 hours and will cost approx. $300-$600 of which you can claim a large part from your health insurance. A lot of employers do have agreements in place with external health and well being providers, so just ask internally if your employer can arrange and fund your annual health check.
To find a men's health check specialist near you, just Google "men's health check" with your location to find a specialized center near you. Please do yourself a big favor and schedule a health check appointment on the short term. It is one of the best health investments you can make!
Make your health your top priority. You can't buy your health or life back after years of neglecting it while you earn your living!

Plan Early

With lack of planning, you easily turn to reaching for the take-out food menu. Have a plan in place, at least 5 meals every week, and ensure that all ingredients are within reach. If possible, utilize Saturdays to cook several meals for the coming week. This will save you tons of time as you have the entire week covered already; just take it out the night before, put it in the icebox and quickly prepare as you arrive from work. Even more important is that you will have a meal with flavor and texture you will surely enjoy.

Add Spice To Your Dinner Meals

Healthy dinner recipes for great evening meals don't have to taste flat. Add various herbs and spices into your meals. Adding more spices is a clever way to make the flavor come out without having to put loads of fat or calories. Use those wide range of herbs and spices that may just be sitting in your cabinet for a long time. Oftentimes, tasty meals can easily be tweaked by making use of a different selection of herbs and spices. Go try it!

Have A Basic Formula For Wholesome Dinners

Healthy meals become easy if you have developed a system to follow. Make it a habit to keep your healthy dinner recipes to a basic formula of protein with carbohydrates plus veggies and you will eventually find healthy meal creation a breeze. This system can definitely include a vast range of options - roasted chicken, pasta with cheese and broccoli, grilled meat with peppers and onions with tortillas, sauteed meat with vegetables on rice. The alternatives are unlimited!

Cut Down Pre-work Time With Frozen Veggies

Everybody benefits from having more vegetables and offering frozen veggies is excellent in getting more into your familiy's meals. Keep a wide variety of frozen vegetables on hand. You can modify the taste with seasonings, margarine blended with lemon juice or even Italian dressing. Simply put your vegetables in the microwave or on the stovetop with a veggie steamer for a short while and you instantly have your vegetables for your meal.

Fruits Can Be Equally Awesome Too

It is a great idea to get your fix via having fresh fruits as it enables you no to give in to your cravings for sugary treats. At meal times, throw in fresh fruit as a dessert, or a side dish, or maybe add some into the main course of your healthy dinner recipes. Fruit provides you with plenty of nutrients and it also fulfills your need for sugary treats.

Furthermore, you can also juice a variety of veggies then add in fresh fruit to help enhance the flavor. You won't only get the added benefit of vegetables but also the great taste of fruit juice. It's incredibly yummy!

Let me say this again - healthy cooking doesn't equate to dull taste and hours of cooking pre-work - so be excited! With a dash of creativity, planning and some recipes, you can easily whip up healthy dinner recipes which are not only beneficial for you and your family but also taste wonderful. Put these ideas into practice and you will be on your way to becoming an expert in healthy cooking in a very short time.

Fitness Nutrition Tips

Anyone that has tried to lose weight knows there's more to dropping pounds than merely getting regular exercise. You can actually use nutrition to influence your weight loss by consuming certain foods before, during, and after exercise to improve your chances of shedding excess weight. Following these fitness nutrition tips can make all the difference in the world to your fitness goals.
It is possible to begin losing weight without changing your eating habits by adding physical exercise; however exercising will increase weight loss. Increased physical activity has many benefits: increased blood flow to all parts of the body, increased oxygen supply and waste products are removed through perspiration. You also change your body's flexibility, strength, endurance, and cardiovascular health.
Exercise also helps to raise your HDL (high-density lipoprotein) cholesterol, which is desirable. It helps regulate blood sugar levels and convert stored fat into sugars that can be used to provide energy for the body. There's no doubt about it, getting regular exercise is important in trying to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight.
Diet, on the other hand, can't accomplish the above results on its own. Eating the wrong foods can adversely affect your weight loss efforts. While you may be trying your hardest to exercise properly, poor eating habits can sabotage everything you're working toward.
• Eating every two to three hours can actually help in your weight loss efforts. Eating more often keeps blood sugar levels even. You don't have to worry about middle of the afternoon slump because you're providing your body with the energy it needs to function properly.

• Plan on eating breakfast whether you think you're hungry or not. Eating breakfast gets your metabolism in gear for the day. Include a serving of protein (4 oz) in that first meal.
• Eat a good carbohydrate at each meal. These include green vegetables (broccoli, spinach, or green beans), cauliflower, apples, oats, yogurt, and skim milk. Whole grain breads would also make a good carbohydrate choice.
• Limit fats to one each day and be sure that fat will remain liquid at room temperature. This type of fat is necessary for your body to function properly. Extra virgin olive oil, canola oil and flaxseed oil are good choices.
• Drink plenty of water. This could be up to a gallon each day, especially if you're exercising strenuously. Replacing water lost during exercise will help your kidneys function and flush fats and toxins out of your system.
• Allow yourself a "free day." This doesn't mean that you should pig out on everything you've been missing during the week, but eating a treat one day a week can help shock your metabolism and kick it into high gear when you return to your regular diet.
• Sugary fruits such as bananas are best eaten first thing in the morning or up to three hours after your workout.
• Immediately following your work out, eat at least 20 grams of simple sugar and whey. Some experts believe chocolate milk may be a better choice over an electrolyte replacement. A half-hour to an hour later, eat a starchy carbohydrate such as potatoes or rice to steady your blood sugar.
• Use spices to add flavor to your meals and also to provide necessary antioxidants for heart health. Cayenne, cumin, cardamom and turmeric are great for increasing your metabolic rate.
Making healthy choices in regard to food is important in fitness nutrition. To receive the full benefit you want to exercise regularly, as well. You don't have to spend hour upon hour at the gym or compete in a marathon. By eating the proper foods at the proper times, along with 20 to 30 minutes of exercise a minimum of three times a week, your body will begin to shed excess weight.

Why Good Nutrition and Physical Fitness Is Vital to Good Health?

Health, nutrition and fitness are the three interrelated areas that determine an individual's sense of happiness and well being.
Health
Health involves the physical, mental and spiritual levels of the individual. A physically healthy person is one who can carry out normal daily physical activities and respond to emergencies with out undo fatigue or pain. The health part of health, nutrition and fitness is achieved through a balanced program of good nutrition, healthy physical activity, continuous education and mental activities, and social and spiritual activities. Your choices of the food you eat and your physical activities affect both your short term and long term health (how you feel now and in the future). You may be getting plenty to eat, but if it is not a proper balance of choices from all five of the basic food groups you may be adding fat to your body without generating the energy to burn the calories and energy to the cells to carry out their functions. Healthy physical activity helps burn off any excess calories you consume, and keeps muscles and joints flexible and strong. Your efforts of continued education (reading, attending seminars, as well as attending formal education classes), and spiritual activities (social activities, attending devotional services, meditation, etc) provides you with a sense of accomplishment and well being. An important part of good health is being physically fit and maintaining proper body weight. Maintaining good health requires following a nutritional diet, and exercising to build and maintain muscles, and to burn of any excess calories.

Nutrition
The nutritional health part of health, nutrition and fitness deals with the food we consume to maintain our health and provide energy to carry on our daily lives. Nutrition is the process of nurturing or being nourished; the total of all the processes that a plant or animal uses to take in and process food substances to maintain a healthy life. A healthy nutrition life style requires a balanced diet of food selected from the five basic food groups, fruits, vegetables, naturally calcium rich dairy products or calcium enriched products, whole grains, and protein (lean meat fish, peas and beans). Other nutritional factors should also be considered. Most fruits and vegetables are better if they are consumed raw because heating destroys some of the healthy nutrients. Steaming and broiling food is better than boiling or frying foods. Preparing fresh fruits and vegetables is better than processed or prepared foods.

The prepared foods generally contain more salt (sodium) than necessary and other flavor enhancing substances. Some of these additives do not add any nutritional value to the food and may even be harmful to your health. More nutritional factors to consider are the variety of the fruits and vegetables in our diet. Nutritional data shows that dark green vegetables (romaine lettuce, kale, broccoli, etc.), and orange vegetables (carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin and summer squash) provides more nutritional value than some of the less colorful vegetables. Here are even more nutrition facts. Some foods contribute to burning fat. Green tea contributes to fat burning by increasing the body's metabolism and increasing energy level. Foods high in protein are more difficult to digest so they require more calories in the digestive process. Good nutrition practices may not be sufficient for some people they may require unique supplements such as CoEnzimeQ10 or others.
Physical Fitness
Physical fitness part of fitness, health and nutrition is the ability to carry out daily activities, enjoy leisure activities and have a healthy immune system to resist disease and infection. Developing and maintaining good physical fitness requires a balance of good nutrition and varied physical exercise. There are there elements to physical fitness: specific fitness the ability to perform daily functions related to work or recreation, general fitness the ability to enjoy leisure time and a sense of peace with the environment, preparedness the ability to over come or avoid emergencies.

There also three factors in achieving good physical fitness good nutrition, physical exercise and restful (sleep). The nutrition maintains the health of the cells and provides the energy to perform the exercises. Physical exercise may be used to accomplish work to earn a living, participate in athletic events, develop and maintain healthy cardiovascular system, or control body weight. Physical fitness and how physical fitness is achieved varies depending on individual. If a person is involved in an occupation that requires vigorous activity and has good nutrition possibly no other exercise is needed to maintain a fit body.
However, even people who are who work hard at their occupation may need additional cardiovascular exercise to keep their heart and blood vessels in optimum condition. People whose profession does not require vigorous physical exercise special effort is required to achieve and maintain physical fitness. A good nutritional diet is the obvious starting point. Some easy things are use stairs rather than elevators, park a little farther from the office or store entrance, throw away the television remote, change channels the old fashion way, and walk to near by offices or neighbors rather than using the telephone. These efforts will help, but more vigorous physical exercise is needed for good physical fitness.
For cardiovascular health a routine of physical exercise over a period a minimum of 20 minutes three times per week is required. The best and generally most convenient cardiovascular exercise is walking. Another good cardiovascular exercise is swimming. Swimming will also help in building and toning muscles. The other factor in developing and maintaining physical fitness is strength exercise to build and tone muscle and to burn fat. Strength exercises are good for weight management because they stimulate muscle growth even after the exercise has been completed. This means that the body continues to burn fat for an extended period of time.
Mental Health
Mental health, as it applies to health nutrition and fitness, is the way we think, how we feel and how we act as we interact with our surroundings. Our mental health contributes to our relations with other people, how we make decision, make choices and how we cope with stress. People with good mental health are able to control their emotions, feelings and behavior. Keeping the mind active through reading, playing games, and an active social life contributes to good mental health.

Spiritual Health Spirituality can be defined as sensitivity or attachment to religion, or as a state condition of being spiritual. Some people ignore or overlook the importance of spirituality in relation to health nutrition and fitness, because they relate spirituality only to religion. Through out history man has struggled with the concept of spirituality. Basically spirituality is the struggle to become the most perfect person or individual. The path to achieve this goal may be through seeking external help through religion of some form, or internal through meditation and study of both present and past human interactions. The above is based on personal study, experiences and observations through out my life.

Healthy Diet Weight Loss For Teens

Healthy diet weight loss is a pretty new approach to losing weight. Nutrition is a matter of pleasure, and a healthy diet should not neglect this aspect. A healthy diet has rules and boundaries. Nutrition - giving your body the nutrients it needs - is important for everyone.
So, here I was with my salmon steak, trying to come up with a really healthy dinner recipe that would tie in with my healthy diet weight loss. I don't mean any of the sugary drinks or so called sports drinks with very low nutritional value that will give you a short-lived blood sugar boost with a letdown and energy crash soon after. I have found that a Healthy Diet alone is not enough to achieve our ideal body image or weight. So, I started to research weight loss and nutrition in the local libraries and I searched the internet for anything I could find.
Physical Activity is the Key
The food group serving size will depend upon various factors like age, activity level, body size and gender. Research has showed that the idea of thin people having a 'fast metabolism' is false; human beings burn energy at quite predictable rates, and gain or loss of weight is mostly to do with calorie intake versus the bodies' basal metabolism (with people with more lean bodyweight burning more calories) as well as (usually to a lesser degree) activity levels; with any long-term excess being stored as fat.
A company with physical activity a healthy diet cannot only extend life expectancy but also quality-of-life. More than 10 percent of patients and 6 percent of the controls admitted to lifetimes devoid of physical activity. The training should follow a very natural course with the implication of the entire system in the physical activity.
Avoid unhealthy foods
Avoid giving unhealthy foods like junk food. Avoid foods that have the words hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated on their labels. Avoid any fad diet that requires eating only certain foods or combinations of foods. Again, check out labels when shopping for food and avoid foods that contain soy or corn oil.
Everybody needs calcium
Get your calcium from low-fat sources, such as skim milk and low-fat yogurt. Dairy products provide a rich source of calcium, necessary for bone health. Good sources include kiwifruit, whole grains, collard greens, dark leafy lettuces (eg, Romaine, Boston, and Bibb), and various types of nuts (eg, filberts, almonds, and sunflower seeds) Calcium is a nutrient that everyone needs, but people with RA may need it even more.
Carbohydrates are the fuel of the body
You will need to eat a variety of foods so that you get significant amounts of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates. Carbohydrates should come from whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Carbohydrates are the main source of fuel for the body. Carbohydrates should be part of your healthy eating plan, however most of your carbohydrates should come from complex carbohydrates because they provide vitamins, minerals, and fiber that are important to our health. The body's carbohydrate stores then become depleted because of the very low intake of carbohydrates in these diets, and thus there is limited availability of carbohydrates to be burned as a fuel.
A healthy diet weight loss Plan needs daily attention!
A healthy diet doesn't have to mean eating foods that are bland or unappealing. Nutrition experts say we should be eating more whole grains: barley, brown rice, oatmeal, popcorn, and whole wheat. A healthy diet plan has plenty of both in it on a daily basis. For a healthy diet with adequate vitamins, minerals and other nutrients, most people should have milk, cheese, yoghurt, fromage frais and other dairy foods in moderate amounts.

After The Successful Diet Weight Loss

The success to staying slim is all about adjusting from a dieting pattern of eating and exercising to a weight maintenance pattern. The physical adjustment means restoring the balance between calories in and calories out, so that the new weight is maintained. Equally important is the psychological adjustment that is needed to ensure that the healthy habits learned during the diet weight loss phase can still be followed strictly afterwards, even without the regular motivational reward of seeing the pounds melting away.
The duration for the period of adjustment and how smoothly the diet weight loss will run will differ from person to person and will to some extent depend on how much weight was loss. Commercial diet weight loss plans, especially those offered by slimming clubs and those using meal replacements do provide maintenance programmes to ensure that there are proper adjustments of eating habits over a period of weeks. There are also some slimming clubs which offer free membership to people who have reach their targets as long as they stay within a few pounds of their goal weight.
For people who manage to loss weight through a very restrictive diet plan may have more difficulties than most in adjusting their eating habits back to normal life. It is human nature for people who have been eating in a restrictive manner to relax their eating and exercise habits once they have succeeded. If the weight does not come back on immediately, it can be very tempting to believe that it is gone for good. By the time the weight gain starts again, disillusionment can quickly set in which will most likely be followed by dismay at the thought of going back to the restrictive weight loss diet regime.
In order to loss weight for good successfully, it is important to recognize that staying slim involves a lifetime commitment. Instead of adopting the on and off attitude, the skills and healthy habits learned during the weight loss diet period should be incorporated into everyday life.
